Old Mill Creamery, Pigeon Forge
The Old Mill Creamery is exactly what it sounds like– decked out in Old-Fashioned chalkboard signs and homemade ice cream in a parlor style setting, this ice cream shop is a perfect place for visitors. You’ll recognized this local by it’s giant ice cream cone wooden sign and it’s HUGE scoops. Found in the Old Mill Square, this place is easy to locate, has a friendly staff, and will create a memory for the whole family.
Located just off of Route 441, this fun Dairy bar is easy to find for those unfamiliar with the area. This fun little ice cream shop features great (and fast!) behind the counter service and is a nice place to stop by while walking the strip. Another fun feature of this ice cream place? If you have a Debbie downer in your group that isn’t in the mood for a cold treat, the Mayfield Dairy bar is also known for their award winning cheezy fries, foot long corn dog, and their deep fried oreos!
Also located on Route 441, you will find a Ben & Jerry’s ice cream shop! This classic features some of the Vermont favorites, including Chunky Monkey and Brownie Batter; plus, any kind of topping and sundae you can imagine! If you are looking for familiarity and all of your favorites, check out this little parlor for a yummy stack before continuing shopping on the strip.
A little ways up from The Guinness World Records Museum, you’ll find The Village Café and Creamery. This quaint little hole-in-the wall shop is owned by locals looking to give you a great ice cream experience! Featuring delicious homemade ice cream, this shop is great for those craving an ice cold treat! The shop also features affordable lattes and hot chocolate of high quality. If this weren’t enough, the ambience of the Village Café and Creamery would suit even the pickiest of ice cream goers–the benches and twinkly lighting outside the building are very aesthetically pleasing.
